About String
I’m a Vancouver-based science student at UBC who doubles as a touring fusion guitarist and hybrid EDM/metal producer. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or polishing a stage solo, I break each goal into bite-sized, week-by-week wins. Absolute beginners start with painless posture, tuning, and their first full song; intermediates dive into tight rhythm and tasteful licks; advanced players explore raga-inspired phrasing and studio production tricks. After nine years performing onstage and recording in studios, and after teaching more than 150 students, I know how to translate music theory into riffs that feel effortless under your fingers. Every 60-minute lesson includes custom tabs, slowed-down demo videos, and practice loops so you always leave knowing exactly what to work on. I keep sessions structured and supportive, letting creativity shine while measurable progress stays on track.

I’m a touring guitarist and hybrid EDM/metal producer with nine years’ stage and studio experience plus training in Hindustani Classical.
Lessons are fully personalised:
• Starter Track → posture, tuning, core chords, and a full song in three weeks.
• Groove Builder → tighter rhythm, scale fluency, and riff writing for rock, pop, or metal.
• Fusion Pro → raga-inspired phrasing, odd-time grooves, and Ableton recording tricks.
Every 60-minute session includes screen-shared tabs, slowed-down demo videos, and backing tracks so you can practise with confidence. Send me clips between lessons and get feedback within 24 h. First 30-minute “find-your-track” call is free.
