About Joel

Hey! I’m Joel, a 26-year-old musician who’s been playing guitar for 20 years. Over that time, I’ve had the opportunity to gig, record and tour across the UK and Europe, playing a mix of different styles and genres.

My favourite thing about teaching is seeing my students get excited about music and watching their confidence grow as they learn. I’m a very patient and approachable teacher, and I want lessons to feel relaxed, enjoyable and suited to each student.

About the lesson

My lessons are aimed at beginners and intermediate players, and I like to keep things relaxed and tailored to what you want to get out of playing guitar. We can work on learning your favourite songs, jamming, scales, chords, techniques, music theory and plenty more.

I also have experience helping students progress through their guitar grades, whether that’s working towards an exam or simply building their skills and confidence.

Most importantly, I want to know what you’re interested in learning. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, we’ll build the lessons around you and what you want to achieve.

Deadly! Joel is very easy going and has a relaed approach that makes my six yr old son feel very comfortable. Joel answers any questions from him, explaining patiently and clearly so that he can understand.
