About Ntando

Hello! My name is Ntando, and I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin) degree. I have a deep passion for History and Geography and a strong desire to help students succeed in these subjects. I understand how overwhelming schoolwork can feel, especially when concepts aren’t explained clearly or lessons move too quickly. That’s why I’m committed to creating a supportive and easy-to-understand learning environment for every student I work with. I want to teach because I believe in the power of education to change lives. I’ve personally experienced the impact of a great teacher—someone who takes time to explain, who listens, and who truly wants you to succeed. That’s the kind of tutor I aim to be. My goal is to make History and Geography come alive for my students, help them build confidence, and reach their academic goals. Whether you're preparing for exams or just need help understanding a tricky topic, I'm here to support you every step of the way—with patience, professionalism, and a genuine love for teaching.

About the lesson

As a passionate and patient BAdmin undergraduate, I offer private History and Geography lessons that are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. My tutoring approach is centred on simplifying complex topics, making content relatable, and focusing on building strong foundational knowledge to boost confidence and academic performance. I believe in interactive learning—using real-life examples, mind maps, past papers, and revision techniques to make each lesson engaging and effective.

I teach in both English and isiZulu, ensuring that language is never a barrier to understanding. My lessons are clear, structured, and paced according to the student’s level—whether they’re catching up, preparing for exams, or aiming to improve their marks.

A typical lesson with me includes a brief recap of previous content, a step-by-step breakdown of new material, practical exercises, and space for questions and discussion. I also provide study tips and homework support where needed.

My lessons are aimed at high school learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12, particularly those preparing for tests, exams, or simply looking to strengthen their understanding of History and Geography. I strive to create a positive and empowering learning environment where students feel heard and supported.
