About Lisakhanya
I am Lisakhanya Mkiva, but to you I'm Lisa. I grew up not knowing how to read and that affected my vocabulary, and I was scared to ask for help because that would've made me look dumb, but as soon as I asked for help I figured that reading is not that bad. What was pulling me back was my pride, so I want to be a teacher because I know there are people like me who want to get help but are afraid to ask for it. I want to create a safe space for them.
