About Giulia

I am a native Italian speaker and a certified speech-language pathologist with a deep fascination for language, communication, and human language acquisition. My enthusiasm for linguistic processes led me to Dublin, where I deepened my knowledge through a Master's program and explored language in an international, English-speaking context. I currently live in Germany and am learning German myself. This personal experience shows me anew every day how enriching learning a foreign language is and which methods truly help one quickly gain confidence. In my three years of professional experience as a speech-language pathologist, I have supported children, adolescents, and adults in successfully overcoming language challenges. I bring this expertise to my language teaching with patience, empathy, and a structured approach.

About the lesson

My lessons combine a love of language with sound linguistic methods. As a native Italian speaker and speech therapist, my focus is on ensuring you not only understand the language theoretically, but also actively use it from the very beginning and develop a natural feel for it. Thanks to my speech therapy background, I help you effortlessly overcome typical pronunciation hurdles (e.g., double consonants, vowel stress, intonation) and reduce any inhibitions about speaking using targeted techniques. Each lesson is tailored to your individual goals, learning pace, and interests, whether you want to solidify grammar, expand your vocabulary, or practice free conversation. We usually start with a relaxed conversation to get us going, then delve deeper into a specific topic (e.g., a grammatical structure, new vocabulary, or pronunciation exercises), and immediately apply what you've learned in practical dialogues and interactive exercises. My lessons are aimed at young people and adults of all levels (A1–C2) – from complete language beginners to travel enthusiasts to advanced learners who want to perfect their language skills for work, studies or leisure.
