About Bart
I am a multiple Dutch juggling champion, and have trained to become a certified performer at the National Circus School in Berlin. With over 600 gigs as a trainer and coach for children, adolescents and adults, I have lots of experience under my belt, and I always have lots of fun passing on my skills. I've worked for business events, children's and youth clubs, holiday programs and sports clubs where I taught juggling, acrobatics and much more.

Would you like to learn something new this summer? Do you love the feeling of small consecutive successes? Would you like to challenge yourself? Learning to juggle can be very frustrating at times, but with the right training you can learn it too!
My name is Bart, and I've been juggling since I was 8 years old. I love working with children, adolescents and adults alike to help them increase their skill-levels. So, if you're interested in learning how to juggle, I'd be more than happy to help you reach your goal!
For beginners we will work our way up from one, to two, to three balls. This can be achieved in most cases in one or two units. I pay close attention to correct posture, throwing rhythm and throwing direction. One of the most important things is to get a very specific and well-known disturbing reflex out of the system to experience the sudden "click".
For all non-beginners we will not only spend time training, but also in gaining theoretical understanding. There are hundreds, if not thousands of tricks in juggling, all of which have their own intricacies. Having gained theoretical understanding first can save you a lot of time.
Almost no-one learns to juggle within an hour, so learning should not only take place in class, but also at home. I advise everyone to have their own juggling equipment and to bring those along, so you can continue practicing at home.

Where: It's your call, Berlin has some awesome open gyms for jugglers, but outside is a very good choice as well (don't forget your sunglasses)

This training is also very suitable for children. If you so wish, I can give you a copy of my (clean!) police-record, which I annually have to give to any club or youth-circus I work for, just for the children's safety.

Deadly! Bart kann super gut erklären und seine Freude überträgt sich sofort auf alle.
Deadly! Bart ist sympathisch und zuverlässig, die Kommunikation mit ihm angenehm und unkompliziert. Er kann alles anschaulich erklären und es macht viel Spaß, mit ihm zu lernen. Ich empfehle ihn gerne weiter.

Jeden meiner klitzekleinen Fortschritte hat er positiv
gewürdigt und mir so geholfen, weiterzugehen.
Ich bin selbst Lehrer und denke, ich weiss ein wenig über
Methodik und Didaktik.
Vor diesem Hintergrund scheint mir Barts Unterricht
wohl durchdacht, sein Vorangehen war sowohl fordernd, wie fördernd.
Leider lebt Bart so schrecklich weit entfernt von mir
(Sankt Gallen, Schweiz)...
Andernfalls würde ich gerne immer wieder Stunden bei
ihm nehmen wollen.
