About The Mix Room
I am a multi award winning Mixing Engineer, Producer and Audio Engineer with over 15 years of professional experience, working with artists including U2, The Rolling Stones, Jack Savoretti, Régine Chassagne and George The Poet, alongside major international record labels.
Alongside my studio work, I spent five years as a lead lecturer in Music Production and Audio Engineering, teaching students at different levels and helping them develop both their technical skills and their own creative identity.
My approach to teaching is practical, personal and focused on real world music making. I want students to understand how professional records are actually produced and mixed, while developing the confidence to make their own creative decisions.
I work professionally in recording, music production, stereo mixing and Dolby Atmos, and regularly collaborate with established artists, producers and engineers.
Lessons can take place remotely or in person at my professional recording and mixing studio in London.

Learn music production, recording and mixing directly from a multi award winning engineer whose credits include U2, The Rolling Stones, Jack Savoretti and Régine Chassagne of Arcade Fire, with personalised sessions built around your music, goals and current level.
Whether you are opening Ableton Live for the first time, already producing your own tracks, or looking to take your recordings and mixes to a professional level, every lesson is tailored specifically to what you want to achieve.
We can work directly on your own music and cover music production, arrangement, recording vocals and instruments, editing, vocal production, EQ, compression, effects, sound design, mixing techniques and professional studio workflows.
Rather than following the same course with every student, I build each session around your goals and the music you want to make. My aim is to help you understand not only what the tools do, but why professional engineers and producers make particular creative and technical decisions.
My credits include U2, The Rolling Stones, Jack Savoretti, Régine Chassagne of Arcade Fire and George The Poet, with work for major labels including Island Records, Universal Music UK and BMG.
Lessons are suitable for complete beginners through to advanced producers and engineers, and can take place remotely or in person at my professional recording and mixing studio in London.
Sessions are normally two hours, giving us enough time to work properly on your music and make meaningful progress in every lesson.
