About Stephanie
I am a visual artist with a 20+ year career as a makeup professional in NYC. My craft is always expanding, never boring, and full of fulfillment. I love using makeup artistry as an extension of my innate desire to be creative and make cool stuff. I want to help you bring out your own creative nature so you can use it on your face :) Even if you feel that you aren't a creative type, makeup techniques can be broken down into an almost scientific procedure that makes more clearly defined sense of the relationship between our facial structure and cosmetics. In other words, anyone can learn to be a confident, expressive makeup artist, especially you!

Facial structure, color theory, corrective techniques, tools and product knowledge, essential cleanliness and sanitation guides, and shading/highlighting methods form a foundational how-to understanding of makeup application, but the rest is up to you and your own creativity. Makeup is an art, and you should use it to feel good about who you are! If you want to be more confident with makeup, (or if you aren't sure where to even start) you're looking for advice, or want some product recommendations, let me know! Lessons can be tailored to your goals and interests, spread out over several sessions in a more academic model or in single-session courses that cover a topic of your choosing. You do not need to be familiar with every TikTok trend, (or any of them for that matter) you don't need to concern yourself with whether you're a "true winter" or a "cool summer", or which eyeshadows should/should not be worn with your eye color... That stuff is not taught in most modern makeup artistry curriculums, because it's all inconsequential when it comes to creating looks that not only flatter your face, but also make you feel confident and match your personal style.

Details
Travel fees are $10 minimum, (up to 4 miles) plus an additional $10 for travel exceeding 4 miles, but less than 8 miles. Travel distances exceeding 8 miles will incur a fee of $5 per additional mile. All travel fees will be calculated and communicated to client before the scheduled time and date of each booking.
