About Ratnesh

I am a visual artist based in Delhi, with a deep-rooted passion for art and education. I hold a BFA and MFA in Painting from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan—an institution founded by Rabindranath Tagore, known for its rich artistic legacy and emphasis on holistic learning. Since 2016, I have been actively practicing as an artist while also teaching IBDP Visual Arts, guiding students through the creative and academic demands of the program. In addition to IBDP, I offer specialized tuition for IGCSE Art & Design, as well as A and AS Level Art courses. I support students through all aspects of their coursework, portfolio development, and exam preparation, helping them develop strong technical skills and a clear artistic vision. My teaching is personalized for all age groups, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in artistic expression.

About the lesson

Learn painting, drawing, and sculpting under one roof with personalized guidance from a professional artist and experienced educator. With over 9 years of experience teaching IBDP Visual Arts and IGCSE Art & Design, I offer a curriculum designed to build strong technical skills and deepen conceptual understanding. For IBDP students, the program supports all three components: the Process Portfolio through media experimentation and documentation; the Comparative Study with guidance on artist research and analysis; and the Exhibition through mentorship in creating cohesive, meaningful final artworks with curatorial rationale. For IGCSE and Art & Design students, the focus is on developing well-researched and skillful coursework, along with preparation for the Externally Set Assignment, encouraging creative and original interpretation of given themes. Each session blends foundational training with individual exploration, helping students build impressive portfolios while cultivating confidence, artistic voice, and a strong understanding of global and contemporary art practices.
