About Natalie

I have 8 years of experience teaching piano and keyboard to students from K-12 to first-year college. I studied at Michigan State University, where I gained strong knowledge in music performance and teaching methods. I focus on making lessons engaging and easy to follow so students can learn comfortably. I have helped many students perform confidently and develop strong musical skills. I received the Piano Teaching Excellence Award for my effective teaching approach. Outside teaching, I enjoy playing piano compositions, exploring new music pieces, and improving my own musical creativity, which helps me inspire my students.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are designed to make learning simple, structured, and enjoyable while helping you progress steadily. I will help you understand the topic you have been having trouble with, through clear explanations, useful examples, and a lot of guided and dynamic practice. I teach keyboard and synthesizer along with proper hand placement, scales, chords, rhythm, and note reading so you understand both theory and playing together. You will learn songs step by step while improving coordination, timing, and musical expression. I also provide comprehensive guidance on practice routines, assignments, and performance preparation. You can share your preferred songs or topics before the lesson, and I will customize everything accordingly.
