About Maeve
I am a passionate piano tutor with over nine years of experience teaching both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a piano emphasis, which provides a strong foundation in performance, theory, and music history. My teaching philosophy is learner-centered, focusing on active participation and helping students develop expressive, confident playing.
I emphasize comprehensive musicianship, blending technical skills, theory, and historical context with creativity and musical expression. My lessons are carefully adapted to each student’s needs, ensuring that beginners and advanced players alike progress effectively. I work with students of all skill levels, from novices taking their first steps at the keyboard to advanced players refining their technique and artistry.
