About Jatin
Jatin is a prolific mix/master engineer, record producer, songwriter and guitarist who has worked as a worldwide touring musician and studio session artist for renowned music studios over the last decade. Winner of prestigious awards and known for his unique blues chops. He is a well trained guitarist who is fluent in funk, rock, wicked blues, western microtonalism and everything in-between. A versatile artist whose diverse project experience ranges from scoring movie backgrounds to creating music jingles for some of the major ad-campaigns. He has expertise in both studio production, as well as live performance using a variety of controllers, synthesizers, pedals, drum machines and exotic string instruments.
He is a remarkably open-minded artist whose versatile approach to his instrument and music in general has made him a “first call” player in the industry, lead to tours and recording projects with diverse cast of renowned musicians.
As an educator, his focus is that his students "find their own voice". This, he says, trains the students' creative reflexes and helps them express themselves in their own voice, because everyone will use these ideas in a different way.

An in-depth, hands-on study of the unique elements involved in the craft of music production. You will learn the fundamental aural and philosophical considerations necessary to achieve emotionally-impactful and commercially-competitive productions providing a broad understanding of different types of media formats, and a comprehensive overview of global music business practices. Through guided work, you will develop the ability to discern the quality of produced music using well-established criteria, research and critically assessed composition and production practices, and develop your very own unique methods to compose and produce original music and to programme, layer and sculpt sounds, as well as utilise Dynamic Processors like Compressors, EQ's (Digital & Analogue) and other FX based forms of processing such as Delay, Reverb and Modulation to bring your ideas to life. These skills are essential for modern producer/songwriters, though equally important is understanding your own relationship to music and how you can translate your feelings and emotions into the sound.
The curriculum is designed to prepare you understand, design, and implement a professional music production environment for the projects you embark on.
