About Abbie
I am a dedicated educator with a Master's Degree in Teaching and five years of experience across various educational settings in WA. I began my teaching career in a rural community and later settled in Perth, where I have gained valuable experience in high schools throughout the metropolitan area. I now teach at a university in Perth while offering private tutoring services
As a self-taught coder, I understand the challenges that learners face, which helps me explain concepts in simple, relatable terms. I believe in a hands-on, interactive teaching style that encourages students to explore and experiment with coding. I also aim to teach programming concepts that provide students with transferable skills they can apply to other programming languages. My passion for technology drives my personal projects in game and web development, allowing me to bring real-world applications into my lessons.

In my tutoring sessions, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's needs. I utilise interactive teaching techniques, such as hands-on coding exercises and real-world examples, to help students grasp Python programming concepts effectively.
Each lesson typically lasts for one hour, allowing plenty of time for exploring concepts and practicing skills. After establishing the level of the student, lessons are designed to suit specific needs.
