• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  My first experience using a computer was quite memorable. It happened when I was a child, around the age of 6 or 7. My parents had just bought a brand-new desktop computer for our home. It was one of those old-fashioned bulky machines.I remember being both excited and curious about this new device that seemed to have endless possibilities.That first experience sparked my interest in technology and computers, leading me to learn more about them as I grew up. It played a significant role in shaping my career path and love for working with technology-related fields like Architecture and working with Revit.

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  As a tutor, my expertise lies in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related technologies.
  Virtual and Augmented Reality Experiences are a turning point in this field: The integration of virtual and augmented reality technologies with BIM will transform the way we visualize and interact with building models. These immersive experiences will facilitate better design understanding, communication with clients, and construction planning.

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world

  My expertise lies in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM), which is an integrated process involving digital representation and management of the physical and functional characteristics of buildings and infrastructure projects. The software Revit lies as the base for this expertise which I have been practising teaching for 8years now. BIM is a transformative technology that is reshaping the construction industry and enhancing project delivery.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  Undoubtedly, visionaries like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg have had a profound impact on the technology world, and their contributions are truly inspiring. Their relentless pursuit of innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to transform industries through groundbreaking ideas have left an indelible mark on the world.However, in addition to these prominent figures, I have other role models as well. As a tutor working in the BIM industry, I am inspired by pioneers and thought leaders who have made significant contributions to the field of Building Information Modeling. These individuals might not be as well-known in popular culture, but their expertise, dedication, and innovative approaches have greatly influenced the way we design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure projects.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I completely understand that dealing with IT can be overwhelming, especially if you're new to it or haven't had much experience with technology. However, I want to assure you that feeling this way is entirely normal, and many people go through similar challenges when starting with IT-related tasks.The world of technology can indeed seem complex at first, but it's important to remember that it's a learnable skill, and with some guidance and practice, you can become more comfortable and confident using it.

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  As a tutor, I am passionate about education and mentorship. Witnessing the growth and progress of my students as they embrace new concepts in BIM brings me immense satisfaction. I believe in empowering individuals with knowledge and skills that will positively impact their careers and the industry as a whole.
  Taking care of my physical and mental well-being is essential to me. Engaging in regular physical activities like hiking and yoga helps me stay energized and focused, enabling me to be a more effective tutor and educator.
