About Ingrid

Ingrid Rygg is a professional performer with experience working at a West End level, and has spent much of her life immersed in theatre and music. Singing has always been central to her career, and alongside performing, she has developed a strong passion for helping others discover and grow their own voices.

With years of experience both on stage and in training environments, Ingrid brings a practical, real-world understanding of vocal technique, performance, and the demands of the industry. She has also worked across a range of creative projects, allowing her to adapt her teaching to suit different individuals, styles, and goals.

Ingrid’s approach to teaching is supportive, focused, and encouraging. She believes that every voice is unique, and aims to help each student develop confidence, control, and authenticity in their singing. Whether working with complete beginners or those preparing for auditions and performances, she offers guidance that is both professional and approachable

About the lesson

Each lesson is thoughtfully tailored to you, whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine an already developed voice. We begin by discussing your goals, musical interests, and any specific areas you’d like to focus on, creating a personalised approach that supports steady and enjoyable progress.

Sessions are carefully structured, typically starting with a guided vocal warm-up before moving into technique work. This may include developing breath control, improving tone and vocal strength, and safely expanding your range. We then apply these techniques to songs of your choice, allowing you to build confidence, musicality, and performance skills in a practical and engaging way.

Lessons are designed to feel focused yet relaxed, with an emphasis on quality, consistency, and confidence-building. I aim to create a supportive, professional environment where you feel comfortable exploring your voice and making real progress over time.
