About Carlos
Hi! I'm Carlos, a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I have always been interested in languages, cultures, and the way people communicate, which has led me to study and work in different international environments.
I have lived and studied in Italy, where I developed a deep appreciation for language learning and cultural exchange. I also have experience as a language teacher, teaching Italian to students of different ages and levels at institutions such as Casa Italia and EAFIT.
As a teacher, I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them feel more comfortable communicating in a new language. I believe learning a language should be both useful and enjoyable, and I bring that idea into every lesson.
Whether you're starting Spanish from zero or already have some experience, I'd be happy to help you on your journey!

Speak from the beginning:
From the first lessons, we'll practice Spanish through conversation and real-life situations. Depending on your goals, we can work on everyday conversations, travel, work, social situations, or simply becoming more confident when speaking.
Lessons adapted to you:
Every student learns differently. I adapt each lesson to your level, goals, interests, and pace. Whether you're a complete beginner, already know some Spanish, or want to improve your conversation skills, we'll focus on what is most useful for you.
Grammar, vocabulary & pronunciation:
Conversation is at the heart of my lessons, but grammar matters too. I'll explain grammar clearly and connect it to practical examples, so you understand not only what to say, but why. We'll also work on vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, and the expressions used in everyday Spanish.
Language & culture:
As a Colombian and native Spanish speaker, I can also introduce you to Colombian and Latin American culture, expressions, and everyday ways of communicating. I believe understanding the culture makes learning a language much more meaningful.
A comfortable place to learn:
Making mistakes is part of learning. My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can ask questions, practice freely, and gradually build confidence.
