About Alter
I have years of experience as a Language Service Provider for the English - Spanish market, and I've been teaching the beautiful language Spanish is even before then.
I personally believe building linguistic bridges between the student's native language and the one I teach as a tutor is a must, so I apply the same "parallelism" strategies I use as an LSP in my classroom.

I—like many people who have experience in the field—believe everybody has a unique way to learn and absorb language. While traditional classes tend to put everybody in the same box, thus building learning environments that can be unfavorable to some students, my main mission is to offer a learning experience tailored around the wants and needs of every student. Just like we say in alterspanish: language learning—but make it different.
In addition to being a Native Spanish Speaker, my formation in Communication Studies, in which we pay close attention to linguistic matters such as semiotics and the way we construct our world through language, works perfectly when explaining a foreign language to someone who is not familiar with it. Apart from that, my own experience learning foreign languages works as a point of reference when it comes to empathizing with students.
My ability when it comes to adapting to different learning styles, along with cultural fluency I've developed throughout experiences abroad, work together as a fantastic tool for language teaching.
It doesn't matter if you need full-conversational sessions to practice real use of the Spanish language or pronunciation, or a more book-based Spanish learning class. I am open to offer my Alter-services to everyone, having always the main mission of offering a learning experience tailored around the wants and needs of every student.
