About Alvaro
Hi! I’m Álvaro, originally from Spain and currently living in Edinburgh, Scotland. I love languages, travelling and connecting with people from different cultures. Because I’ve also had to adapt to life in another country, I know first-hand how challenging it can be to face a new language. That’s why I try to make my lessons friendly, encouraging and practical — so you feel supported every step of the way. I’m patient, positive and genuinely enjoy helping students gain confidence in Spanish, whether you’re starting from zero or looking to polish your skills. My goal is to make learning feel natural, motivating and enjoyable.

We’ll focus on real-life situations and conversations, so you can gain confidence from the very first class. Whether you want to improve your grammar, prepare for an exam, boost your pronunciation or simply practise speaking, I’ll adapt the content to make sure you keep progressing and stay motivated. I like to keep things dynamic: we’ll mix speaking, listening, reading and a bit of grammar in a relaxed atmosphere. And of course — there’s always space for questions, jokes, and cultural tips along the way
