About Olajide Abdulrasak
Hi! I’m passionate about the French language and particularly interested in helping people overcome the fear of actually speaking it.
I understand that learning French can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may know the vocabulary and understand the grammar, but when it is time to have a conversation, finding the right words can suddenly become difficult.
This is one of the reasons I want to teach. I enjoy breaking French down into simple, understandable patterns and helping learners see how they can use what they already know to communicate.
I am patient, encouraging and believe everyone learns differently, so I take the time to understand each student’s goals and learning style. My aim is to create a comfortable environment where you can practise, make mistakes, ask questions and gradually become a more confident French speaker.

My lessons are focused on helping you actually speak French, not just memorise vocabulary and grammar rules. I use simple conversational patterns, repetition and real-life examples to help you understand how French sentences are naturally formed.
Whether you are a complete beginner or you have studied French before but still find yourself translating everything in your head before speaking, I will work at your pace and help you build confidence.
Lessons are practical, relaxed and interactive, with plenty of opportunities to speak. We will work on pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence structure, listening and everyday conversation. I also adapt each lesson to your level, goals and areas you find most difficult.
My aim is to make French feel less complicated and help you become comfortable using what you learn in real conversations.
