About Ivy
I’m a native Cantonese and Mandarin speaker with a professional background in higher education. Having gone through the process of mastering English myself, I can tell you firsthand: memorizing endless word lists is a trap! You don't learn to speak by staring at a textbook—you learn by jumping into real-case scenarios, having a laugh, and practicing how people actually talk.
Because of my background in education, we will skip the boring, rigid drills. Instead, I break down tricky tones and Pinyin into simple steps that actually make sense, tailoring everything to how you learn best.
