About Katerina
Hey everyone! I’m Kate, a native Ukrainian speaker, certified teacher of foreign languages graduated from the National Linguistic University of Kyiv. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, and I’ve been helping people from all over the world learn Ukrainian in a natural, stress-free way and at their own pace.
I’ve spent over 20 years working with languages — as a teacher, tutor, linguist, interpreter, and more — and I’ve taught in both Ukraine and Argentina. I'm based in Buenos Aires, where I teach English and Spanish speakers. I specialize in helping English-speaking students learn Ukrainian naturally, confidently, and at their own pace.

I focus on creating a relaxed, supportive environment for my students. I guide them through their language journey by helping them break down psychological and linguistic barriers — and making learning feel natural.
We learn through engaging activities like storytelling, having real conversations, listening to music, reading poems and watching videos. It’s about practicing language in the context of real life, where connection and communication are more important than perfect grammar.
At the end of the day, language learning is about being motivated, curious, and enjoying the process. It’s also about being patient and consistent, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

We can schedule your first online FREE session as soon as possible. This is a 20-minutes session where I usually tell a new student more about my methodology, class components, see his/her level, discuss his/her goals, needs and interests and answer questions. As soon as I hear your goals and your timeliness I will be able to do a program to suit your individual needs.
