About Courtney

My name is Courtney and I have learnt Italian for 12 years at school, culminating in a full year living as an exchange student in Italy, living with multiple Italian host families and going to school, gaining my fluent proficiency. I truly love the language and have loved learning it, and have adapted an efficient and simple method to learn and enjoy learning. Now that I have some level of mastery of Italian, I am learning German from scratch at university, continuing my passion for learning languages.

About the lesson

I love teaching and helping others, and I feel I offer a unique perspective as an Italian tutor that is different from a native speaker. I have been through the process of having to learn the language, been through the methods of multiple Italian teachers, and created a system for myself and my students that simplifies the process into something more easily understandable from our English language background. Have you found yourself in the classroom wondering what on earth something the teacher is saying means? That you just can't wrap your head around what different types of verbs are, or some other jargon?

I'll work personally with you, either as a supplement tutor to your learning at school or university and answer questions you have or explain a concept in simpler terms or just be conversation practice. Or if you want to learn Italian from scratch and have me as your primary tutor, I'm more than happy for that too. I'll always make a personalized study plan for you to get the results you want.
