About Olotu

Hello! I’m Olasunkanmi, a native Yoruba speaker from Ekiti State in Nigeria. Growing up, I saw many of my siblings and cousins live abroad and struggle to speak Yoruba — even though it was part of their heritage. I stepped in to help them learn, and it was amazing to see them gain confidence and actually start using the language in everyday life. That experience inspired me to teach Yoruba to others. I know how it feels to want to connect with your culture, communicate with family, or simply learn a new language, but not know where to start. My lessons focus on practical conversation, vocabulary, and cultural insights, so you start speaking confidently from your very first session. Teaching Yoruba isn’t just a job for me, it’s a passion. I’m here to help you unlock the beauty of the language and connect with Yoruba in a way that’s fun, simple, and meaningful.
