About Ella
Bonjour! Je m’appelle Ella, and I am a 19-year-old student with a passion for learning languages. I have learned French for almost 16 years, and have done several exchanges to France to master the language, earning my B2 certificate when I was 16. I offer exam-specific support, for both the Junior-Cert and the Leaving Cert syllabus, focusing on all aspects of the language; grammar, speaking, written and listening. I studied French for A-Level and I received 98%. We studied French literature including the novel “L’Etranger” by Albert Camus. I was highly commended for one of my essays on the theory of the absurd in the novel. I also enjoyed studying and discussing topics such as Immigration and Multicultural Societies, The Occupation and the French Revolution, and Political & Artistic Culture in Francophone countries. I am now studying French and Economics at university, and have chosen to also study Spanish as I want to improve my level. I also have learned German in the past. I am very friendly and offer relaxed but tailored learning sessions to school students and adults of all ages wanting to improve their French!
