My family moved from America to Indonesia in 2015. Her father is a US Army officer and we were stationed in Bandung, Indonesia when our daughter was only two years old. This was the first time that our family of three had ever moved overseas.. We enrolled her at Bandung Independent School for preschool because of the wonderful ratings and reviews from our Australian friends and others online. Her first preschool teacher was Ibu Irma. She was such a kind, welcoming, and amazing teacher who spoke very good English. Our daughter learned so much about Indonesian language and culture and she soaked it up like a sponge. She learned Bahasa Indonesia language lessons and she even learned how to cook Indonesian food such as kankung and how to fry scrambled eggs. The kids got the opportunity to plant seeds and watch them grow on the garden as well as being creative in arts and hands-on learning of basic skills that helped mold her during her most formative years. I would recommend Ibu Irma to teach all the expat and local children. She was very kind and welcoming in a place that was so foreign to us. Thank you for being so wonderful! I wish you all the best.
