About Kaoru

こんにちは(Konnichiwa / Hello)! I am currently living in Japan. I longed to live overseas, so I quit job in Japan and lived in Canada for one year and UK for two years via working holiday visa. I hope to live overseas again someday. To be honest, my English is not perfect, but I would appreciate it if I can practice to use English while teaching Japanese. Don't be shy! Let's start from greeting in Japanese! -Experienced as a Japanese tutor in UK -Experienced in language exchange in Canada and UK

About the lesson

My lesson is based on a friendly and enjoyable Japanese conversation. But I would like to find the best lesson for you to enjoy learning Japanese according to each person. Tell me your preference in the first trial lesson. If you are a complete beginner in Japanese, don't worry!! Most of my students are beginners of Japanese. Also I have some materials based on "Minna No Nihongo" and "Genki". I can share very useful Japanese phrases, Japanese culture, and recommended places with you. Share the joy of learning a new language together!

Deadly! Kaoru makes you feel comfortable. A big hurdle I thought I would have, was being self conscious about speaking Japanese and sounding like an idiot. That's not the case and she is very patient. I hope to continue with Kaoru.

Deadly! My experience with Kaoru has been an absolute blast! She started by getting to know what got me to look at learning Japanese. She introduced me to the basics (which I really needed), I realised how lost I was when I was just using the Duolingo app :P.
