About Evan

Hi I’m Evan, I have a strong academic background in Physical Education, achieving top grades at A-level, and I am progressing towards further study in Sport & Exercise Science at Leeds University. Alongside my studies, I have extensive practical experience in sport — including competitive swimming, rugby, and football — as well as working with children through football coaching, holiday camps, and my current role as a site supervisor. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how young people learn, how motivation and confidence affect performance, and how to communicate clearly and patiently. I genuinely enjoy helping students improve, not just academically but in their confidence and attitude towards their exams. My approach is calm, structured, and supportive, and I always adapt lessons to suit the individual student.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on helping students understand Physical Education content clearly and concisely whilst teaching them how to use this information and develop their exam technique, to get as many marks as possible.I specialise in GCSE and A-Level Physical Education, covering key areas such as: • Exercise physiology • Biomechanics • Sports psychology • Training principles • Skill acquisition • Sport and society • Exam technique and extended answers.
After our first introductory lesson, I will be able to adapt my teaching and content to the needs of every individual student, helping students reach their personal goals and targets.

Deadly! We highly recommend Evan as an A Level PE tutor. Evan is highly knowledgeable on all topics covered in A Level PE. He has been fantastic, helping our daughter to build both her confidence and understanding of the subject.
