Hi, I'm Chloe – an experienced and enthusiastic tutor passionate about Philosophy as a way for young people to develop their critical thinking skills and become curious, reflective learners who feel confident engaging with complex ideas.• 7+ years of tutoring experience, with 1000+ online sessions delivered, with many students achieving A*/A grades.

About the lesson

Personalised from the Start: Before we begin, we identify where you are currently performing, your target grade, and the specific skills or topics preventing you from reaching it. Each lesson is then planned around these priorities.
Making Philosophy Accessible: I break down complex philosophical concepts and debates into clear, manageable steps, using an online whiteboard, analogies, and discussion to help you understand not only what philosophers argue, but how to analyse and evaluate their views in the exam.
Exam-Focused Support: We will practise exam questions, create essay plans and analyse exemplar exam answers I have created, to develop the precision, concision and logical links required to write high-scoring AQA responses.
Detailed Feedback and Resources: I provide thorough written feedback on your 25-mark essays, highlighting exactly how to strengthen your arguments, improve your evaluation and meet the top bands of the mark scheme. You will have access to a wide range of exemplar exam answers, as well as personalised live documents on each topic which you can use as a revision resource.
