About Rhys

Hi, I’m Rhys. I am an A level student who has just completed their course and will be studying at University College London. My love of Spanish and desire to captivate others with the language is what drives me to become a tutor, resulting in my previous experience tutoring lower years in school in which I refined my techniques in teaching students of varying experience. In addition, as a lifeguard, educating others on the dangers of water has given me a strong foundation in teaching that I hope to build further by reaching a wider demographic through superprof.

About the lesson

My lessons take a highly flexible format in which students direct the teaching towards the topics that they are enthusiastic to learn. However, I believe a strong ability in all fields of the subject is key in order to have a true grasp of Spanish. As a result, lessons will focus on the aspects of Hispanic language, culture and history that engage students, taught through learning to read, write and speak Spanish. Learning materials will include Spanish texts, Spanish film, Spanish essay writing and general conversation in order to build fluency, all curated to the student’s ability and interest.
