About Mike
Mike is the Head P.G.A. Golf Professional at the High Legh Park Golf Club and coaches full time, both from High Legh and Chester & North Wales Golf Centre. Mike believes in a simple philosophical approach to golf coaching that promotes athletic learning and ownership of that learning through creating awareness, responsibility and self belief.
Mike has dedicated countless hours to researching every coaching method and swing techniques of all the greatest players from the past to the present day. Very few professionals have invested so much time and energy into coaching and Mike's encyclopaedic knowledge of golf techniques has earned him a reputation amongst his students and Professional peers as the master of spotting swing faults and the skill to convey a solution in a variety of ways moulded to the students learning style.
Aware you can never have enough knowledge and experience Mike is always excited and receptive to hear about new theories and ideas that help anybody play better golf, be it swing, fitness or improved mental skills. Mikes teaching wisdom only adopts valid sound game improvement methods, not the latest fad.

Apart from coaching club golfers at every level, Mike coaches many of the region’s best amateurs along with two full time professional players Jon Bromley and Liam Hancock both playing on the the EuroPro Tour.Mike currently spends some time on the range at European Tour Events, studying and developing his advanced coaching methods with mentor Damien Taylor full time coach to current world number 39 Bernd Wiesberger and world number 149 Marcel Siem.
The coaching studio at High Legh provides all the latest technology including the trackman launch monitor and V1 slow motion analysis camera. Mike provides the best product to players of all abilities weather it be total novice or advanced players.He is simply passionate about helping you as an individual to become the best golfer you can be.
