About Sarah

I believe every student has the potential to grow, succeed, and thrive when given the right support. About the lesson

I’m an international affiliate of the American Psychological Association, a licensed clinical psychologist, and an experienced university lecturer with over 800 hours of teaching and 2500+ hours of clinical practice. I've taught core psychology courses including Health Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Positive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Psychopathology, Research Methods, and Principles of Psychology. My passion lies in making complex psychological concepts simple, relatable, and applicable to real-life situations so that when you go out for clinical practice you don't feel lost. In clinical practice, I’m trained in CBT, REBT, and IPT, and I actively supervise therapy and counseling work. My combined academic and hands-on clinical background gives students a well-rounded learning experience. As a listed MAXQDA trainer and winner of the MAXQDA Research for Change Grant 2023, I’ve helped many undergraduate students confidently design, analyze, and present high-quality research projects. I’ve also worked as a consultant on mental health tech platforms like Propel (for adults with ADHD) and MuseAlpha (a CBT-based mental health chatbot), so if you are looking forward to work as a consultant I can help you out. Whether you're seeking help with your psychology coursework, need guidance on your research project, or want mentorship in clinical and counseling skills, I bring both academic depth and practical insight.
