About Morgan
While I love every area of linguistics, there is a special place in my heart for theoretical syntax. Within syntax, I am particularly interested in verb movement and auxiliary verbs. I most often work with Germanic languages (especially the Scandinavian languages: Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish), but have also worked with Romance languages, as well as languages outside of the Indo-European family.

Though my area of specialization is in syntax, I offer tutoring services in several areas of linguistics (incl. syntax, morphology, and phonetics/phonology). A typical lesson might include working through problem sets while discussing the various theoretical concepts that are relevant to the problem sets.

Deadly! Morgan really helped me piece together concepts with vocab as Linguistics can be very jargon-heavy. She is very knowledgeable and offers great resources for further study.
