About Malorie

Hello!

I am Malorie, I'm originally from New York City, but I am now living in London for a Master's degree in linguistics.

I graduated with a BA in linguistics in 2022, and have been teaching English and Spanish individually and in class settings. I received my TESOL certificate in 2022, certifying my ability to teach English Language Learners of all levels. I have been tutoring students in Spanish for the past 5 years. I am able to help with linguistics and ELA students as well.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy revolves around personalization and immersion. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, learning style, and proficiency level, combining traditional grammar and vocabulary instruction with practical communication exercises. I use conversational practice to build confidence in real-life scenarios.
My lessons typically range from 30 to 60 minutes. I am more than happy to be flexible and fit your schedule.
I have been teaching Spanish to classes and one-on-one instruction for over 4 years. I graduated with a BA in linguistics, and I'm currently getting my master's in linguistics. I am a native Spanish speaker and use conversational Spanish in my daily life.
My typical students are adult learners, but I have plenty of experience with kids ages 5 to 15. I am able to teach speakers anywhere from A1 to C2.
