About Kgalalelo
I am currently completing my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). I have been offering assistance to first year Linguistics students at UJ. I also tutored high school students under the organisation 'Classroom Buddies'. I have completed my BA in Humanities degree.

My teaching style depends on how the learner responds to information. This is because some learners process information better through sounds, pictures, writing or all of the above. If a learner understands information more once a picture is painted about what is being said, then the lesson will consist of encouraging he the learner to visualise what is being taught. If a learner understands a information more by hearing another person read it, he/she will be encouraged to only listen without taking notes. If a learner understands information by writing additional notes then he/she will be encouraged to take notes during the lesson. Most times this cannot be determined when meeting a learner for the first time so I always encourage them to take notes while I am teaching so that they can review their notes and ask questions. Through explaining and answering their questions by incorporating these methods, I am able to determine how they respond to them and use the one they they respond they seem to respond to best.
