About Lindsay
Hello, my name is Lindsay! I am a Linguistics student in the Netherlands; I moved from the US to the Netherlands for university. I attended an international school in the US and have always had a passion for language.
I find joy in helping others; in my opinion, there is no better way than using my strengths of proofreading/academic writing to do so.
I have 5 years of experience teaching (English) reading and writing to children, and have been editing papers for my peers throughout my school experience.
My experience working around non-native English and my knowledge of Spanish, French, and Dutch have helped me to better understand the struggles and sticky points of English.

I offer my services in helping with English academic writing/proofreading, as well as general topics of Linguistics. Given the individual nature of these subjects, I will modify the lesson plan on an individual basis.
For writing and proofreading, I expect the student to be able to present some of their own work from outside of lessons, so that I can better evaluate and facilitate more effective learning.
I have experience working with children in English reading and writing, as well as helping in academic writing with my non-native English speaking classmates at university.
While my services are open to anyone, I can offer the best help to high school (teenager) /university students (of all levels)!
