About Silvia
I have worked as a teacher for 20+ years. I started out as a violin teacher, then taught German for 7 years before studying LLB law. I want to specialise now on Law, working towards my barrister training. I work also 1 day as a Citizens Advisor Volunteer, as I love advising and supporting people and students.

We look first into the U.K. legal system and court system. ( suggesting court visits!) then we think about general concepts of morals, society and justice. In Criminal Law we look into common assault, actual ABH and grivous bodily harm GBH, murder and manslaughter, theft, robbery, burglary and sexual offences. Important to know are also the concepts of Actus Reus, Mens Rea and Causation. Finally we look into defences such as insanity, duress or self-defence and sentences.

I have decided to have some lessons with Silvia as my personal German's Skype Teacher because she was a perfect match with my objectives. She is Swiss but she is living in London and she can teach High German and other many languages. I am living in Zurich and I needed to learn High German with some revising of my English speaking in the architecture field. She was really prepared and she adapted the lessons to my specific needs. She was professional but at the same time friendly, really patient and supportive. I spoke few words in German and with her I was more and more confident with the language in many occasions.
