I've been teaching A-Level History, Ancient History and English Literature for several years and at least two years online. My approach is exam-based and focused on question-and-answer technique. I focus on syllabus and exam technique. My usual method is to set an agreed question from your current syllabus, write it up and send it me for review, assessment, annotation and additional ideas. We meet up, online preferably, and go over the answer together working through point by point. You'll get a copy of my annotations, notes and ideas to take away.

Dr. Nick helped me a lot by understanding what errors I have made with my history essays and tells me exactly where I should improve. He has strived to make my skills much better than they were before. He is a very professional tutor.

He puts a great deal of time and thought into lesson preparation to ensure that my son gets really valuable help and support. My rates are not based on contact but on preparation time. That's where the value for money comes in. Candidates submit agreed practice answer which is carefully marked and annotated. That's what they get to keep and use when revision time comes. Contact time is used to go over comments and annotations in order to make sure they're understood.
