About Kasparas

I am a pianist from Lithuania and have been living in London for the past 5 years. I am currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music and have taught students of all ages, since moving here. Before, I have been an assistant piano teacher for several summers in the music school of Silute in Lithuania. In addition, during sixth form I participated in outreach trips representing the Purcell school of music, teaching piano to young children in schools around the UK.
As a pianist I have become laureate in 22 international competitions, released a CD with KNS Classical, some of my performances were televised on Mezzo TV and also have had chances to perform on stages of most famous concert halls such as Wigmore hall in London and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

About the lesson

I am happy to help learners of all ages, whether it is learning new music, practising, improving aural skills or sight-reading. I can also help prepare for ABRSM exams.

I received my initial musical education at Lithuanian’s best specialised music school based on the Russian school of piano playing. Hence, I believe in a well rounded musical understanding, combining music theory, aural skills and technique. In order to achieve that, I think in long-term work and practice. Nevertheless, I do understand the need for immediate fixes for exams or performances, as I myself have had to prepare for various occasions on short notice.
I am happy to discuss the goals and plans of each student and make sure I understand perfectly what they need, in order to come up with the best plan for the lessons - both challenging and interesting.
