About Zion
I have been playing music for almost my entire life and have experienced all different situations of playing; pit orchestras, marching bands, jazz big bands, jazz combos, concert bands, rock bands, funk bands, church bands and singer backup. I have had the opportunity to study with dozens of touring professionals in Long Beach and at the university of Berkeley. I have toured across the United States and performed hundreds of shows in many different genres of music.

As a self taught player I have created an extremely efficient curriculum to learning the guitar. I will study your goal as a musician and develop a strategic curriculum to help you get there mechanically and mentally. I will teach you all aspects of guitar playing: music theory, the CAGED system, scales and modes, arpeggios, chords, sight reading, strum patterns and then the technical aspects: guitar tone, amp tone, pedalboards, in ear monitoring.
I will take these principles and combine them with your goal as a musician to help develop a specific learning path for you.
