About Dayna
Hello, my name is Dayna! I have been in the teaching field for over 12 years and is thrilled to share the skills she’s gained from her extensive experience with students around the world. I am a graduate of the Early Childhood Education Program at Fanshawe College, and completed my undergraduate studies at Western University, earning a BA in Sociology. Afterwards I completed the Post Graduate Education Program at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK. Throughout the past 3 years, I have had the amazing opportunity to teach students all around the world. I've taught students in Tanzania, Africa, Palawan and the Philippines! From this experience, I have gained a deep insight into what it means to be an educational leader in a variety of settings.

My teaching philosophy is that using innovative approaches and encouraging inclusivity allow for students to gain more in-depth, authentic learning experiences as I believe one of the most essential and important tools in teaching is enabling children to develop in all areas of learning. It is my goal to ensure that the entire diverse student population has the opportunity to succeed to their full potential. I look forward to creating cross-curricular unit plans that emphasize numeracy and literacy in all lesson.
