About Céline
As a French-American citizen, I have lived in a bilingual environment all my life and was educated in both languages with a strong emphasis on English, particularly written English.
For the past 5 years, I've been a personal tutor to a number of families who wish for their children to become fluent in French.
This past year, I undertook socio-linguistic research in the province of Quebec which was published through the college of Humanities at a university level.
My current position working with members of the UK Parliament requires that I interact with members and other delegates in both languages.

Pesky nasal vowels, the subjunctive mood, les faux amis, complex sentences that have extra words without mentioning the extra silent letters... learning French is hard, i'nit? I hold a Bachelor's degree in French and studied teaching methods. My implicit method focuses on natural conversation without pointing out so many mistakes. I am keeping a tally of them and will push you outside of your zone of ability, slow enough that you don't lose confidence. I focus on natural, everyday French, with fun and engaging activities that make learning feel effortless. Together we will remediate mistakes, having fun along the way. I keep a flexible schedule for you as life happens.
