About Sajan

I am a student, graduating with a degree in Business concentrating in marketing in June 2021 from Carleton University. I have been cooking and baking since I was 7 years old, a hobby of mine, I used to sneak into the kitchen when I was younger and have learned by observing and doing. I moved 4 hours away from home for university and had to cook for myself and even my roommates sometimes. Over the years I have learned a lot about baking and cooking, especially vegetarian and vegan food. My sister and I have started a cake and pastry business and we also teach others how to bake some amazing deserts.

About the lesson

My teaching method is very visual and hands-on. I love to go in-depth with all topics, even going into the basics and background. My typical class is very engaging with stories, lots of conversations and also questions. I like to make sure we are on the same page and when cooking and baking I like to experiment a lot. My motto in anything I cook or bake is "make it my own and add a twist". By saying this, I was to let you know that cooking and baking is an art and science so if there are any hiccups and it doesn't work out the first time around, don't worry as it is the process and the more you do the more you learn.
