About Francesco

I am a student just like you. I finished high school only three years ago, and I still often meet up with my former classmates. In my free time, I do the same things you do, besides sports, I easily reach my 4+ hours of screen time per day. In short, I speak your language. I know how you approach certain subjects and difficulties, because I used to, and still do, experience them myself. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching has been realising that, beyond helping my pupils improve their grades, I have built genuine friendships with them. This connection creates the kind of communication and trust that I believe are essential between a teacher and a student.

About the lesson

I am 22 and still a student, which keeps me close to the world of children and teenagers. My teaching focuses on true understanding, often using examples from TikTok or their everyday experiences to make concepts click. I have experience with students aged 8 to 17, including those with learning difficulties, in both scientific and classical subjects, as well as languages (Italian and English). By creating personalised learning plans, I have consistently helped students improve grades and, more importantly, grasp the material fully. I graduated with distinction from Italy’s top classical high school, studying Latin and Ancient Greek and conducting research on Greek poetics at La Sapienza University. I earned a bachelor’s in economics with highest honours and am now pursuing a master’s in International Social and Public Policy at LSE. For the past five years, I have worked as a private tutor, educational researcher, and summer camp counsellor.
