About Senushi
I am a passionate swim teacher with over 2 years of teaching experience. I competed at the highest level in both swimming and lifesaving during my school years. Currently, I teach at a school and at a swimming academy in Box Hill, helping swimmers of all ages improve their skills, confidence, and safety in the water. I hold an LSV Swimming Teacher Certificate, First Aid, CPR, and a Working with Children Check (WWCC). My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for every swimmer while helping them reach their full potential.

In each lesson, I begin with an initial assessment of the swimmer’s stroke technique, water confidence, and buoyancy to understand their current abilities. From there, I create a tailored lesson plan that meets the individual’s goals whether that’s learning the basics, refining technique, or preparing for competitive swimming.
Lessons range from 30 minutes to 1 hour and are designed to be engaging, safe, and goal-focused. I work with swimmers of all ages and abilities, from beginners building water confidence to advanced swimmers aiming to perfect their strokes or improve endurance.
My teaching approach focuses on developing strong foundations in breathing, body position, and stroke technique, while gradually introducing drills that improve coordination, efficiency, and speed. I also include essential survival skills to ensure safety and confidence in the water. For those looking to progress further, I provide advanced training on racing techniques, starts, and turns.
Every session is supportive, encouraging, and adapted to each swimmer’s pace helping them feel confident, capable, and motivated to reach their goals.
