About Wag

With a decade of ESL teaching experience, I specialise in guiding high school and college students towards achieving fluency, accuracy, and confidence in English. My lessons are highly personalised, tailored to the student’s goals, learning style, and level.

I combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises with interactive activities and real-life examples. I focus on fostering both competence and confidence, helping students actively engage, communicate clearly, and apply their skills in practical situations.

Over the years, I have helped students improve exam performance, fluency, and communication skills, preparing them for success in school and beyond.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is built on a C³P framework: Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is encouraged through imaginative exercises, storytelling, and interactive projects that inspire students to experiment with language and develop original ideas.

Communication is central to my teaching. Lessons focus on conversation practice, role-plays, and collaborative activities that strengthen listening and speaking skills while building confidence. Compassion ensures that each student’s individual needs are addressed; I provide personalised guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback to foster a supportive learning environment.

Problem-solving is integrated through real-life applications, critical thinking challenges, and scenario-based exercises, allowing students to use English practically while developing analytical skills. I also cover relevant subjects such as reading comprehension, vocabulary enhancement, and written communication to reinforce learning.

Through this approach, I strive to create learners who are confident, creative, empathetic, and capable of applying their English skills effectively in academic and everyday settings.
