About Simon

My motivation stems from a diverse interest in computer science and a penchant for creativity. I currently have a BSc and two MSc in computer science from both the United Kingdom and France. Now in my final year as a Ph.D. candidate, my diverse experience—ranging from agile startups to R&D departments in larger corporations—has honed my expertise, putting me at the forefront of machine learning innovations for tomorrow's landscape, as well as the software engineering open source software community, for the greatness of sharing with the world advancements!

I just returned from a fantastical research internship at New York University in one of the world's most prominent urban computing research labs. Previously, I worked as a software engineer for several European organisations throughout the last four years. Throughout my three years of machine learning experience, I have also developed my talents in both academic and industrial environments. --> See more!

I have been teaching computer science at all levels for the past five years, including bachelor's, master's, and even young professional students. In addition, for nearly three years, I have promoted Figma, assisted young entrepreneurs with proof-of-concept products, and redesigned people's resumes. If numbers are of interest, three of my BSc and MSc students have received first-class grades and one ''going beyond'' award for their masters' thesis in the last six months. I successfully transitioned one person from teacher to designer. Finally, I have successfully assisted a dozen software engineers in contributing to Open Source communities around the world. About the lesson

In academia and industry, I instruct computer science courses ranging from beginner to expert, both online and in-person, as well as at my alma mater. From C and C++ to JavaScript with Next.JS and React Native, and on to more analytical languages like Strongly Typed Python, to ML/DevOps for deployment or Git & GitHub to contribute to the Open Source Software community – I cover it all. The same goes for machine learning techniques. I go over paradigms, principles, how to design your own machine learning system, how to use Scikit-Learn like your pocket, introduction and design of Automated Machine Learning systems, how to apply machine learning to medical applications, etc. One more thing: being truly passionate about design, I am also offering Figma courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels. These courses can help you construct your next product, unique résumé (CV), and or university & industry-based pitch decks

Shy from time to time e.g Max does not want yet to say stop when things are already known, but it is certainly extremely polite and appreciated; yet, feel free to be pragmatic and suggest when things should not be covered because they are known. Nonetheless, Max is really optimistic and enthusiastic; Feels very logical mindset and I am looking forward to see him coding to help him with the hands-on aspect of ML and data mining in general!
