About Madububa
Hi, I’m Christian, and I’m passionate about helping children learn and grow through education. I teach English and Igbo, especially to young learners between ages 4 and 16. As someone who deeply values language, culture, and clear communication, I love creating fun, engaging lessons that help students feel confident and excited to learn. I started teaching because I believe every child deserves a chance to express themselves, understand the world better, and stay connected to their roots whether they’re learning how to read in English or speak their native language, Igbo, with pride. Teaching is more than a job for me it’s a calling. I enjoy building real connections with my students and watching them improve day by day. With over two years of experience, I’ve worked with children from different backgrounds, helping them improve their skills, one lesson at a time. Whether you’re just starting out or want to practice speaking and understanding better, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I specialize in teaching English and Igbo to children aged 4–16, using interactive, student-friendly methods that make learning fun and effective. My lessons are filled with visual aids, songs, games, storytelling, and Total Physical Response (TPR) to keep young learners engaged and active throughout the session. I personalize every lesson to match each child’s pace, interests, and learning style. Typical lesson durations vary by age: 25–30 minutes for young children, and 45–60 minutes for older kids or teens, allowing for better focus and retention. I hold a B.Sc degree and have over 2 years of experience tutoring children remotely, helping diaspora kids learn Igbo and improve their English fluency through engaging online lessons. I am fluent in both languages and include cultural elements like proverbs, greetings, and traditional stories in my Igbo classes to make learning meaningful. My lessons are ideal for beginners and elementary-level students, including non-Igbo speakers, diaspora families, or international children learning English. Whether your child needs help with grammar, reading, speaking, or cultural understanding, I create a warm, encouraging environment where they can learn with confidence.
