I'm a Georgia-certified high school Math teacher with 10 years of experience teaching middle school math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus. I specialize in teaching state-tested math curriculum as well as teaching in a virtual setting. I also teach test prep strategies for the ACT, SAT, and ASVAB

I specialize in teaching state tested math curriculum as well as teaching in a virtual setting.
I take a personalized approach to learning! Every student has different learning styles and abilities and I believe it is important to learn that about your student and use that to drive instruction. I use the gradual release method: I’ll demonstrate a problem (explaining my thinking process as I go along), then we will attempt some problems together, and then the student will attempt a problem as they explain their thinking (so I can clear up misconceptions), then finally the student will attempt problems completely on their own!
