About Sofie

My interest in beauty, style and self-expression began at a young age, when I was 13 years old and did an internship at a hairdresser. Since then, I have explored makeup, hair and styling as a way to express identity and enhance what is already within us. In 2015, I trained as a professional makeup artist and hairstylist at the Nicky Walsh Makeup Academy in Denmark, where I received a broad international foundation in everything from skincare and color theory to fashion, photography, TV and bridal styling. I have also worked with makeup at, among others, the Miss Denmark fashion show and with brands such as Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Shiseido, Clarins and more, where I have gained solid product knowledge and experience in guiding clients individually. In addition, I have over 10 years of experience working with people through coaching and personal development. This has given me a strong ability to create safe spaces, build trust and meet each individual where they are. For me, makeup is not just about the outside, but about helping you feel more like yourself – with tools that strengthen both your expression and your self-esteem.

About the lesson

My lessons are personal, practical and tailored to you, your skin and your unique expression. I do not work with fixed rules, but guide you in understanding your own “canvas” – your colors, shapes and needs – so that you can create makeup that feels authentic and natural to you. I combine simple, concrete techniques with an educational and hands-on approach, where you yourself get to test and explore under guidance. The focus is on you feeling confident, inspired and independent in using makeup in your everyday life. The lessons are 60 minutes and can be held online or on site in Gothenburg. They are suitable for beginners and those with some experience who want to deepen your knowledge, understand products better and develop your personal expression. I am a trained makeup artist and hair stylist in Denmark (Nicci Welsh Makeup Academy) and have experience in guiding people individually with a focus on self-expression, simplicity and sustainable routines.
