About Patrick
你好! Nǐ hǎo! My name is Patrick and I am a first year student at the University of Manchester, I am studying politics and Chinese. I have studied Mandarin for seven years and have always been fascinated by Chinese linguistics and culture. I have been a Maths, English and 11+ tutor for the past 2 and a half years and I have loved to watch my students develop their knowledge and confidence. Chinese is a beautiful language, and with it being the second most spoken language globally, it is becoming increasingly relevant on an international scale. My lessons can be tailored to your personal needs. Whether you are a student in school preparing for an exam, or looking to improve your Chinese for a trip abroad, I am happy to help! Once I have understood your required level and prior experience with Chinese, I will create lesson plans to support you and assist you in reaching your goals. For students currently in high school, I am able to tutor you up to A-level standard. If you have a child who is primary school age, I have over two years of experience tutoring 4-16 year olds and can assist accordingly to your child's needs.
